El Cob-rón Rojo
Red Corn Lager
OG 13.7°P / IBU 21 / ABV 5.7
This exceptional lager pays homage to tradition while pushing the boundaries of innovation, resulting in a brew that is truly one-of-a-kind.
El Cob-rón Rojo begins with a labor-intensive process, where 30% of our mash bill is dedicated to meticulously milled and cooked red corn, infusing the beer with a distinct character and depth. Combined with a generous portion of red malt, comprising 42% of the mash bill, and complemented by Standard Two Row, this beer embodies a perfect balance of heritage and modernity.
But what truly sets El Cob-rón Rojo apart is its infusion of Neo Mexicanus Zappa hops. These carefully selected hops, renowned for their unique spicy and sweet fruit flavors, impart a subtle yet captivating essence reminiscent of the West Coast. However, fear not, as this addition enhances rather than overwhelms the classic international lager experience.
As you raise your glass to your lips, prepare for a symphony of flavors to unfold. Rich caramel undertones from the red malt mingle harmoniously with the earthy sweetness of the red corn, while the Neo Mexicanus Zappa hops dance delicately on the palate, leaving a lingering, satisfying finish.
Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or an adventurous newcomer to the world of craft beer, El Cob-rón Rojo promises an unforgettable sensory experience. Join us in raising a toast to tradition, innovation, and the endless possibilities of flavor captured in every sip of this remarkable brew.
