Beer, Beers Past, Seasonal
OG 1.044 / IBU 16 / ABV 5.4
For 9 months, our house Cream Ale received a secondary fruited fermentation in French oak to deliver a spicy, complex soured experience. The resulting Brettanomyces barrel-aged beauty abounds with a bready, honey sweetness and crisp apples.

This beer, whose name is a playful homage to another 505 head brewer and good friend, is the real deal. With a simple malt profile of flaked corn and malted barley, McDay’s comes off light, bright, and clean with a gentle corn aroma. Just a dash of hops offer a simple balance for this classically American ale.
