The Troubles
Celebrating 25 Years of Beers!
Irish Red Ale
OG 13°P / IBU 23 / ABV 5.2
In the crucible of rebellion, where the spirit of defiance meets the artistry of brewing, emerges The Troubles; an Irish Red Ale, an anthem to resistance, an embodiment of an indomitable will to stand against overwhelming force. In the amber depths of The Troubles, taste the lustrous whispers of caramel and biscuit, an homage to the sustenance that fuels the fervor. With each sip, you join a noble cause and make a pledge to uphold the objectives of this red ale revolution.
“I do solemnly promise, {sip} to uphold and have belief in {sip} the objectives of this IRA {sip} and obey all orders {sip} issued to me by the Brewery Council and all my superior officers.”
Crafted with purpose, Irish Ale Malt forms the backbone, a foundation as unyielding as the resolve it symbolizes. The rich tapestry of Red and Aromatic Malts weave a tale as complex as the intricate struggles of those who resisted. The sole hop, UK Target, lends strength, a nod to solidarity as Ireland has no hops it calls its own.
This is more than a beer; it’s a call to arms, a plea to embrace the cause. Let the resilience of The Troubles be a catalyst for change, a symbol of camaraderie in the face of adversity. Join the ranks, savor the rebellion, and let the taste of freedom linger on your palate.

Every year, breweries seem to release their Oktoberfest brews earlier and earlier. We simply cannot wait until September. (Yes, September. The Oktoberfest in Munich always begins in September) We at Turtle Mountain have historically shown some restraint. We’ve never released an Oktürtlefest in July like some breweries.
But we’re jonesin’ & keepin’ up with the Joneses. AugTürtleFest is breaking the calendar.
