Cosmic Campground, the campground, is the first International Dark Sky Sanctuary of North America deep in New Mexico’s Gila National Forest. Located about 60 miles NNE of Silver City, the closest significant light pollution is 40 miles away and it is one of only 14 certified IDA Sanctuaries in the world!
