Rio Grande Tortoise India Black Ale
OG 1.065 / IBU 80 / ABV 6.5
A perfect example of the wonderful, collaborative spirit of New Mexico breweries, this pitch black hop bomb is the brain child of our head brewer, Tim Woodward, and the head brewer from Bosque Brewing Co., John Bullard. Together they assembled the recipe and brewed on premise here at Turtle Mountain. The result? An assault on your senses. This beer is black as night but don’t be fooled, its color certainly doesn’t dissuade its hop attack. Loaded with American hops, the drinker will find huge citrus and tropical fruit notes and a resinous, piney bitterness. We hope you enjoy drinking this stealthy IBA as much as we enjoyed collaborating to make it for you.
